Close CRM requires a Lead — and every Lead needs a company name. If Linked Helper hasn't scraped the prospect's current company, the send will fail. Run a Visit & Extract action before the Send to CRM action in your workflow to ensure company names are always captured.

In the "Qualification Call" activity field by default. You can also choose a different activity type in the integration settings, or create a new one if you want LinkedIn conversations tracked in their own dedicated activity.

Email is the default identifier. Because many LinkedIn profiles have no public email, we recommend adding lh_member_id and lh_public_id as custom fields and enabling them as additional identifiers — Linked Helper checks them before creating any new Contact or Lead.

Yes, absolutely. If you prefer not to use OAuth, you can connect via an API key directly. In Close, go to Settings → Developer → New API Key, generate a key, copy it immediately (it's shown only once), and paste it into Linked Helper.

No by default — it only populates empty fields. Enable the per-field Overwrite option when you want LinkedIn data to always update a specific value, such as job title after a prospect changes roles.

No. This is a native OAuth integration (or API key for older LH versions). No middleware, no extra subscriptions.
