Email is the default identifier, but many LinkedIn profiles have no public email. We strongly recommend clicking "Create most useful custom fields" to add lh_member_id and lh_public_id as extra identifiers — Linked Helper checks them in order before creating any new record.

Yes. Use the CONSTANT_VALUE option to map a fixed value — like "New" or a campaign name — to any HubSpot field, including Lead Status. Set the owner ID field in the integration settings to auto-assign every new contact to the right HubSpot user.

OAuth is the faster, one-click option recommended for most users. The Private App route lets your HubSpot admin control exactly which CRM scopes are granted and is preferred by teams with stricter access policies. Both authentication methods give Linked Helper the same core functionality.

HubSpot's standard Industry field only accepts English values. If your LinkedIn interface is in another language, create a custom field called "LH Company Industry" in HubSpot and map it to the "industryName" field in Linked Helper — this sends the industry name in whatever language your account uses.
