Linked Helper costs less and keeps your LinkedIn password, session and IP under your control, and we believe it is the safer of the two. It costs $15 per account per month on Standard against $100 per seat for Skylead. Skylead positions itself as a cloud all-in-one for LinkedIn and cold email, and it is ahead on branching sequences, built-in email steps and a public API. It starts in minutes, which suits people who accept the security and detection risks that come with a cloud tool.
We make Linked Helper, so you should know whose guide this is. In October 2026 we checked Skylead's prices and pages again. Before that we signed up for it, ran our own tests and talked to its support team to get the details straight. The screenshots below come from those tests.
The two are built in opposite ways. Linked Helper is a desktop app that runs on your own computer or VPS. Skylead is a cloud platform: you type your LinkedIn email and password into its app, and it works from the vendor's servers. That one difference decides who holds your LinkedIn session, which IP LinkedIn sees, what you pay per account and how much control you keep.
Key takeaways
- Linked Helper starts at $15 per month per account (Pro $45). Skylead costs $100 per month per seat. On annual billing Linked Helper becomes $8.25 and $24.75. Skylead's only annual option is an Annual plan on request, with 2 of 12 months free.
- Linked Helper runs as a desktop app with its own built-in browser engine on Windows, macOS or Ubuntu. Deploy it on a VPS or VDS and you get a cloud-like setup with the benefits of both worlds. Skylead runs fully in the cloud and signs in with your LinkedIn email and password.
- Linked Helper gives a 14-day free trial with full functionality and no credit card. Skylead gives 7 days, asks for a card and covers one account.
- At the start of October, the ratings on the three review sites we checked look like this: G2 4.5 against 4.5, Capterra 4.9 against 4.8, Trustpilot 4.8 against 2.9. Weighted by review count, that is 4.78 across 893 reviews against 4.51 across 146.
- At 20 accounts, hosting and proxies included, Linked Helper costs about $420 a month against $999 on Skylead's Agency plan, which covers up to 25 seats, or $2,000 at $100 per seat, before VAT.
Which Is Better, Linked Helper or Skylead?
Linked Helper leads on price, ratings and control, and it covers a wider range of LinkedIn actions. Skylead leads on cloud convenience, sequence logic and built-in email.

Which Tool Has More Features?
Linked Helper has more LinkedIn actions and deeper AI features, and Skylead has the stronger sequence builder. Skylead's builder offers view profile, invite, message, InMail, follow, like post (in beta), email and an email finder. Linked Helper adds endorsements, group and event invitations, organization follows, Boost post and AI comments, with 30+ features and 15 native integrations, plus webhooks you can use with Zapier and Make. Skylead has four native CRM integrations (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce and Raynet), webhooks and a public API.
| Feature | Linked Helper | Skylead |
|---|---|---|
| Architecture and session | Desktop app, session on your machine | Cloud, sign-in with email and password |
| Your proxy | Own proxy for each account | Vendor proxy by location, or your own |
| Proxy quality checker | Yes, IPQualityScore in the app | No |
| Multistep sequences | Yes | Yes |
| Branching | Partial | Yes, 6 conditions |
| A/B testing | No | Yes, up to 5 variants |
| Email steps | Via Snov.io or Instantly | Yes, built in |
| Email finder | Yes, credits included | Yes, with verifier |
| AI messages | Yes, credits included | Add-on, paid in credits |
| AI comments | Yes | No |
| Native integrations | 15 | 4 (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Raynet) |
| Webhooks | Yes | Yes |
| Public API | No | Yes |
| Workspaces | Yes | Yes, teams |
| Message history export | Pro plan | From the campaign start only |
| Free trial | 14 days, no card | 7 days, card |
Quick key. Yes means the feature is there and works. Partial means it works, with strings attached. No means we did not find it in the product or in the help center.
What Does Skylead Do Better Than Linked Helper?
Three things. First, its sequences branch on six built-in conditions, plus a custom condition with up to five outputs, and they mix LinkedIn and email steps in one flow. Second, it has a public API on every plan. Third, its Agency plan adds a shared inbox and a full white-label option. Linked Helper reaches email through Snov.io or Instantly, routes profiles by outcome instead of drawing branches, and has no public API.
Who Holds Your LinkedIn Password, Session and IP?
With Linked Helper you do; with Skylead the vendor does, and we could not get the vendor to explain how it protects the account. We asked, and the answers are below.
Is Skylead a Safe Cloud Tool?
Skylead connects LinkedIn with the email and password you type into its app. Its help center says to pick a proxy and then "add your LinkedIn email and password." The session is therefore opened from Skylead's servers, not from your machine.
Skylead's support could not tell us how its risk protection works. It said there is an automatic account cooldown if a risk is detected, and that it had no more details to give.

Skylead support, answering our question about how its risk protection works. The reply is in the vendor's own words.
You cannot see the quality of the IP your Skylead account uses. Skylead assigns a proxy by the location you choose, or you can add your own, and when we asked about a quality checker, support said verification happens on its side and is not offered as a separate feature.

Skylead support on proxy quality checks. It says verification happens on its side and is not offered as a separate feature.
A vendor-assigned IP is not necessarily a clean IP. Skylead's own pages do not promise a dedicated IP, but reviews on third-party sites often describe one, and Skylead's blog counts the lack of one against Linked Helper. Earlier this year we ran a cloud test from France with two Skylead accounts. Both got the same IP, 58.97.254.1, hosted in a data center, and IPQualityScore rated it 100 out of 100 for fraud risk, with proxy, VPN and recent-abuse flags. That is one test with two accounts, so it is no verdict on every Skylead account. It is a risk you cannot check or fix yourself unless you bring your own proxy, and we recommend checking any IP's reputation through an API before you run campaigns.
How Does Linked Helper Keep You in Control?
Linked Helper works from your own IP or a proxy you control, one proxy per account if you want it, and the app shows what you would otherwise find out after a restriction. Skylead's blog says Linked Helper has no dedicated IP and cannot run several accounts. We do not sell IPs, but every account can run through its own HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS or SOCKS5 proxy that you pick. Workspaces keep all your accounts in one place, with one licence for each account you run at the same time.
The proxy checker reports the country, a fraud score from IPQualityScore and whether the IP has been used by bots, crawlers or VPN and proxy services. A proxy is marked Good or Bad, and the app recommends replacing a Bad one. It warns rather than blocks, so the decision stays yours.
Your LinkedIn password is used only for auto-login (help center). If you do not add it, you sign in by hand, and if you do not want it on our servers, you can keep it locally on your machine.
Pacing is set in the same app. The default daily limit is 150 actions, with a Smart Daily Limit Adjustment that varies the daily count and separate limits per action type.
Do Linked Helper Campaigns Stop When the Computer Is Off?
Only if you leave Linked Helper on a laptop you close (the help center says so too). Run it on a VPS you rent and campaigns stay online around the clock, from an environment you control. Skylead's blog lists the same point, that your PC has to be on, as a weakness of Linked Helper.
How Much Do Linked Helper and Skylead Cost?
Linked Helper costs less for the team sizes most buyers have, from one account to a few dozen, and the gap is widest for small teams. The entry price is $15 per account, against $100 for a Skylead seat. Linked Helper applies bulk discounts automatically, 10% off at 10 licences and 20% off at 20, and they go up to 50% off for larger teams. Skylead's All-in-one plan is a flat $100 per seat, and a seat runs one LinkedIn account, so we compare it with one Linked Helper licence. We found no published volume discounts for it. Agencies are pointed to a separate flat plan.
| Accounts | Linked Helper Standard | Linked Helper Pro | Skylead All-in-one |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $15 per month | $45 per month | $100 per month |
| 10 | $135 per month | $405 per month | $1,000 per month |
| 20 | $240 per month | $720 per month | $2,000 per month |
| 20, over 12 months | $2,880 | $8,640 | $24,000 |
List prices in USD billed monthly, checked October 2026, excluding taxes, add-ons and hosting. Linked Helper includes the 10% and 20% volume discounts. Skylead is its $100 per seat plan.
Skylead's own pricing page shows the second option for agencies. The Agency plan costs $999 per month for 25 seats or $1,999 per month for unlimited seats, and the card is labeled a first-year promotion. We did not find a price for the years after that.

Skylead pricing page, October 2026. The Agency plan is labeled a first-year promotion and lists 25 seats.
Its agencies page quotes the same $999 for up to 50 seats, so the two pages disagree on the seat count.

Skylead's agencies page, October 2026. The same $999 Agency price covers up to 50 seats here.
Four costs do not show in the $100. VAT is not included, and support told us that for a payment made from the UK, 20% is added to the price of the seat. AI SDR and AI data enrichment are add-ons paid in credits at $1 per 100, with a 50-credit minimum. The plan includes 100,000 emails a month, and more can be arranged only through support at a price Skylead did not name. And the "infinite" email warm-up on its pricing page is capped at 100 email slots per team in the terms.

Skylead support on taxes. For a payment made from the UK, 20% is added to the price of the seat.

Skylead's Terms and Conditions, October 2026, section 17. The infinite email warm-up is limited to 100 email slots per team.
Linked Helper sells licences for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, and auto-renewing billing is optional. The $8.25 figure is a 12-month licence billed once at $99. One licence runs one LinkedIn account at a time, so we quote prices per account. Duration and bulk discounts stack, and bulk discounts apply when the licences are on one invoice (licensing and discounts).
What Does a 20-Account Agency Really Pay?
Even after we count the hosting we added, a 20-account team pays about $420 a month with Linked Helper and $999 plus VAT on Skylead's Agency plan. At $100 per seat the same team pays $2,000. List prices are only part of the bill, so we ran the full cost for one scenario. Five managers, 20 LinkedIn accounts, outreach feeding HubSpot, campaigns running 24/7, 400 email lookups per account and 850 follow-ups. Linked Helper lives on your own machines, so we added the hosting it needs. Skylead is cloud, so it needs none.
| Cost line | Linked Helper Standard | Skylead Agency, first-year promotion | Skylead All-in-one |
|---|---|---|---|
| Licences or plan | $240 (20 × $15, 20% volume discount) | $999 (up to 25 seats) | $2,000 (20 × $100) |
| Servers | $100 (5 Windows VPS at about $20, assumption) | Included | Included |
| Proxies | $80 (20 at about $4, assumption) | Included, or your own | Included, or your own |
| Email finder, 8,000 lookups | Included (about 12,400 credits a month that never expire) | Included, no credits | Included, no credits |
| Five managers | $0 | $0 | $0 |
| Total per month | $420 | $999 plus VAT | $2,000 plus VAT |
| Total per year, annual billing | $312 per month, $3,744 | Price after year one not published | Annual price on request |
Monthly cost for 20 accounts, USD, October 2026. VPS and proxy prices are our assumptions, not vendor prices. Skylead figures exclude VAT.
Annual billing does not close the gap. Linked Helper drops to $8.25 per licence, and Skylead offers an Annual plan only on request, which charges for 10 months and gives 2 months free. The advantage narrows near the ceiling of Skylead's flat plan. At 50 accounts the same model gives about $985 for Linked Helper against $999 for Skylead.
Which Plan Is the Cheapest Way In?
At Linked Helper the cheapest plan is also the real minimum. Standard at $15 per account passes every check we set for a minimum viable setup, which we defined as the cheapest plan that still runs a real outreach campaign. Skylead has no cheaper tier: All-in-one at $100 is its only self-serve plan. Here is what each entry plan gives you.
| What you need | Linked Helper Standard, $15 | Linked Helper Pro, $45 | Skylead All-in-one, $100 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Multistep sequences | Yes, no step limit | Yes | Yes, no step limit |
| If/then branching | In message templates, plus routing by outcome | Same as Standard | Yes, 6 conditions, up to 5 outputs |
| Stop when a lead replies | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Campaigns running at once | Several active, one runs at a time | Several active, one runs at a time | Several, sharing one daily limit |
| Email steps | No, via integration | No, via integration | Yes, built in |
| Lead export to CSV | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Message history export | No | Yes | Only from the campaign start |
| CRM and webhook sends | 20 profiles a day | Unlimited | Yes |
| Email finder | 620 data credits per monthly licence | 3,100 data credits per monthly licence | Included, with verifier |
| AI messages | 250 AI credits per monthly licence | 500 AI credits per monthly licence | Add-on, $1 per 100 credits |
Entry plans compared, October 2026. Linked Helper from its licensing page, Skylead from its pricing page, help center and our tests.
Source for the Linked Helper columns is the licensing and discounts article of its help center. The limit on Skylead's message history comes from its support, who told us it can only sync conversations from the moment a lead enters a campaign.
Standard is the real minimum. It has the multistep sequences, reply stop and safety settings that most solo outreach needs, for $15. Skylead's $100 buys branching, built-in email steps and an API, at 6.7 times the price. Move up to Pro only if you need message export, bigger credit pools or more than 20 CRM sends a day.
Which Is Better for Agencies, Linked Helper or Skylead?
Linked Helper costs less for 20 accounts and keeps each client in an isolated workspace, while Skylead's Agency plan adds a shared inbox and a white-label option.
| Linked Helper | Skylead | |
|---|---|---|
| Price for 20 accounts | $240 in licences, $420 with hosting and proxies (assumptions) | $999 on Agency, first-year promotion |
| Manager seats | Free, unlimited in the first workspace | Free, unlimited co-workers |
| Client access | Guest role with view-only access to the accounts you give them | Clients invited with granular roles, from full access to none |
| White label | Your own logo and name in the app | White-label option on the Agency and Annual plans |
| Inbox across accounts | One inbox per account, with tags and notes synced across accounts on cloud storage | Unibox for all client conversations on Agency |
| Proxy per account | Your own proxy for each account, with a checker | Vendor proxy by location, or your own |

Unlike classic cloud tools, we have no servers that run your campaigns. You install Linked Helper wherever you choose, on a laptop or on a VPS you rent, and that setup gives you control. Your cookies, your session and your IP stay on that machine, and so does your lead data unless you choose cloud-based storage. On a VPS, campaigns run around the clock, you can log in from any device and you can give a teammate access. It is also LinkedIn-first, so teams that need native cold-email sequencing should pair it with a dedicated email tool.
What Do You Get With Skylead?

| Agency | $999 for 25 seats (first-year promotion) | Not published | Agencies running many client seats |
| Annual | Custom | Pay 10 months, get 2 free | Teams with a steady seat count |
Skylead's trial lasts 7 days and asks for a credit card. G2 reviewers mention a learning curve and occasional delays among its recurring cons.
How Do the Trials and Cancellation Compare?
Linked Helper's trial is longer and needs no card. It runs 14 days with full functionality, and the clock starts when you launch your first campaign. Skylead's trial is 7 days, and its help center puts the card step before the first seat is created. The trial covers one account: add a second and, according to its terms, the trial ends and you are charged.
Skylead's own email warm-up runs for 14, 30 or 60 days, so even its fastest mode is twice as long as the trial. You can test the LinkedIn side in a week, but the email side takes longer than the trial.
Cancelling does not work the way Skylead's form says it does. The payment form says you can cancel anytime from the menu next to the seat name.

That menu does have a Cancel subscription item. When we clicked it, we saw a message asking us to contact support.

The same menu has a Cancel subscription item. Clicking it shows a message asking you to contact support.
Support then cancelled the subscription for us in the in-app chat and said we would not be charged.

Skylead support cancelled the subscription in the in-app chat.
In Linked Helper you cancel from the Launcher under Billing and then Subscription (help center), and licences you already paid for keep working until they expire.
What Do Users Say About Each Tool?
Users rate Linked Helper higher overall. Counting every review together, Linked Helper has 893 reviews at a weighted average of 4.78 out of 5, and Skylead has 146 at 4.51. The two are level on G2, and Skylead has only 2 reviews on Trustpilot, so its weighted score leans on G2 and Capterra.
| Site | Linked Helper | Skylead |
|---|---|---|
| G2 | 4.5 (149 reviews) | 4.5 (127 reviews) |
| Capterra | 4.9 (278 reviews) | 4.8 (17 reviews) |
| Trustpilot | 4.8 (466 reviews) | 2.9 (2 reviews) |
| All three, weighted | 4.78 (893 reviews) | 4.51 (146 reviews) |
The weighted average multiplies each site's score by its number of reviews and divides by the total. The three sites have different audiences and review rules, so treat it as a summary and not as a single official score.
G2 reviewers of Linked Helper often mention time savings and customer support, and name the learning curve as the most common complaint. Skylead reviewers praise lead generation, LinkedIn integration and multichannel outreach. Ratings were checked in October 2026.
Which One Should You Choose?
Pick Linked Helper for price, control and a wider set of LinkedIn actions. Pick Skylead only if you want a ready-made cloud setup with branching and email steps and you are willing to take on the cloud's security and detection risks.
| Your situation | Better fit |
|---|---|
| Lowest cost per account | Linked Helper |
| Your own IP and session stay with you | Linked Helper |
| Many accounts, volume discounts | Linked Helper |
| Branching and email steps in one sequence | Skylead |
How Do You Switch From Skylead to Linked Helper?
In six steps, using the 14-day Linked Helper trial that needs no card.
- Write down what you actually use in Skylead, such as branching conditions, email steps and the API. Email steps are the one thing Linked Helper handles through an integration instead of natively.
- Export your leads from Skylead as CSV, per campaign or per list. Conversations from before a lead entered a campaign were never synced to Skylead, so they will not be in the export.
- Download the Linked Helper desktop app for Windows, macOS or Ubuntu and start the 14-day trial. No credit card is needed. The first-campaign guide walks you through it.
- Sign in to LinkedIn inside the app. A proxy is optional if you run only your own account. For several accounts on one machine, we recommend assigning each its own HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS or SOCKS5 proxy (IPv4) and running the built-in proxy checker. Residential, ISP and mobile proxies are the better choice, because datacenter IPs are the ones most often flagged.
- Rebuild one campaign in the campaign builder. Set daily limits, working hours and delays, and turn on reply detection so the sequence stops for people who answer. We recommend not running both tools on the same LinkedIn account at the same time.
- Cancel Skylead when you are satisfied. Open the seat menu, choose Cancel subscription and contact support if the app asks you to. Its terms keep the account active until the end of the billing period.
